Your Forearm

the poet who butchered his mind to challenge his soul
has butchered his soul because there’s nothing left
your forearm is a rusting chain
your forearm is the weight of happiness
your forearm is Egyptian ropes
your forearm is a bleeding diaphragm
a bathtub of spitting oil
the rock-bottom...
my job is fucking awesome.
I work in a chocolate shop.
I’m allowed to “accidently” “drop a bag of chocolate covered red liquorice” and be forced to “hide the evidence” in my “mouth”
