so instead of being ‘a little drunk’, I am currently ‘a lot drunk’ and laughing wildly at things. my feet are tingly.

I am taking it upon myself in these next three months to become fully learned in the theoretical/structural side of poetry. what I’ve noticed is that so many people (myself included) seem to just blurt out lines (often in free verse to try and hide the fact that we’re amateurs) without considering the actual meters required and what particular ones mean (yes, all structural techniques...
